So what I&#8217;ve been doing is shopping my stash and finding new things in there that I might not otherwise have tried!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>L&#8217;Oreal Revitalift Hyaluronic Acid 1.5% Serum <\/strong>is one such product. I received it during an event many months ago, and dug it back up when I was looking for a new serum to use in the day. I tend to use hydrating\/hydration serums in the day as I&#8217;ve found that that&#8217;s when I lose the most moisture from my skin. I attribute this to the weather &#8211; just because the weather is hot and humid doesn&#8217;t mean we don&#8217;t lose water from our skin. Using a hydration serum in the day helps my skin retain moisture and water better. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Suffice to say that the Revitalift Hyaluronic Acid serum was surprisingly a good find!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">L&#8217;Oreal Revitalift Hyaluronic Acid 1.5% Serum<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s a fun fact about me and the L&#8217;Oreal Revitalift range of product. Back when I was in my early 30&#8217;s, this range was my go-to for an affordable pharmacy brand of skincare. I found that the Revitalift creams worked well for me, for an &#8216;anti-aging&#8217; cream. There was only 1 cream back in the day of course &#8211; it was the dark ages then LOL! \ud83d\ude1b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Revitalift Hyaluronic Acid 1.5% Serum has what they say is their highest concentration of hyaluronic acid to replump and intensely hydrate from within, for youthful radiant skin. There are 3 types of Hyaluronic Acid in there:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Macro Hyaluronic Acid &#8211; a larger HA molecule that sits on the skin surface and hydrates the skin surface by trapping and holding onto water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Micro Hyaluronic Acid &#8211; a smaller HA molecule that slips under the skin surface to hydrate the skin from within, thereby plumping it up and smoothening any fine lines<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Micro-Epidermic Hyaluronic Acid &#8211; a HA molecule that&#8217;s 50x smaller than the standard HA molecule to penetrate skin even deeper to hydrate skin from deeper within <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#8217;Oreal claims that the Revitalift Hyaluronic Acid serum will almost instantly hydrate and plump the skin, smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles, and keeping it plumped and hydrated for longer.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"576\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mywomanstuff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/loreal-revitalift-hyaluronic-acid2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21667\" style=\"width:700px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mywomanstuff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/loreal-revitalift-hyaluronic-acid2.jpg 576w, https:\/\/www.mywomanstuff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/loreal-revitalift-hyaluronic-acid2-169x300.jpg 169w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 576px) 100vw, 576px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Very lightweight serum is not sticky<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>What most of you will like is that the serum is not sticky at all when applied on skin. It has a lightweight watery texture that spreads very easily all over the skin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unlike most hyaluronic acid serums, or serums with high content of hyaluronic acid, this one doesn&#8217;t feel tacky, so it is very easy to use and not uncomfortable. No need to pat for it to absorb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Apply on damp skin for best results<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I personally like applying this on damp skin for best results. It is how I use all hydration serums or serums that have hyaluronic acid, as I have found that they work best this way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#d3e8e8\"><strong>RELATED READING: <\/strong>Why do I apply on damp skin? <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mywomanstuff.com\/2012\/02\/tip-apply-skincare-on-damp-skin-for-better-absorption\/\">READ MORE<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have a product with a tacky texture, applying it on damp skin can help it absorb better and more quickly as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this serum, as it is a hyaluronic acid based serum, I have found that applying it on damp skin results in it grabbing onto the water almost immediately, which translates to almost immediately plumped and hydrated skin.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"1244\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mywomanstuff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/loreal-revitalift-hyaluronic-acid.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21668\" style=\"width:700px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mywomanstuff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/loreal-revitalift-hyaluronic-acid.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.mywomanstuff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/loreal-revitalift-hyaluronic-acid-169x300.jpg 169w, https:\/\/www.mywomanstuff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/loreal-revitalift-hyaluronic-acid-576x1024.jpg 576w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Skin is plumped and hydrated quickly<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As with most hyaluronic acid serums, the L&#8217;Oreal Revitalift Hyaluronic Acid serum goes to work almost immediately. If your skin is dry, you will feel an almost immediate comfort, and it will look visually plumped. Use it consistently (I use it in the morning) and you will notice that your skin will not look as dry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But is it a miracle product? Not by a mile so don&#8217;t get your hopes too high LOL! \ud83d\ude1b <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For me, as a hydration serum it is decent, in that I have used worse at a higher price tag. I suppose that&#8217;s what lets me be more forgiving towards this serum. I use a full dropper each time, as I don&#8217;t believe in using droplets of hyaluronic acid serums LOL It&#8217;s just me &#8211; I don&#8217;t have the patience and I like how it feels when the serum glides over the skin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The price tag isn&#8217;t exactly dirt cheap, but it is on the more affordable end of the price spectrum. This also taking into account that the local pharmacies often have products go on sale, so you almost never have to pay full price for it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What I&#8217;d benchmark it against is the similar products in the L&#8217;Oreal stable of brands e.g. Kiehl&#8217;s, Lancome etc. Against these products, I&#8217;d pick the L&#8217;Oreal Revitalift Hyaluronic Acid Serum because of its price. I don&#8217;t think it is any lesser in quality, and the price is more wallet friendly. I have used some very affordable hyaluronic acid serums, and some expensive ones, and I honestly cannot say that I am willing to pay any more for it than what I&#8217;d pay for the Revitalift Hyaluronic Acid serum. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So what this really means is that I think it&#8217;s a pretty decent hydration serum, if that&#8217;s what you&#8217;re looking for. It is also fairly basic, and if you ask me if there are cheaper options available, I&#8217;d say there probably is. But are there any that are easy to get hold of in a pinch at a store near you, then I think you could do worse \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>IN A NUTSHELL<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The L&#8217;Oreal Revitalift Hyaluronic Acid 1.5% Serum is a hydration serum that is made with hyaluronic acid, a known ingredient to hydrate and plump the skin while helping it retain moisture. I have found that it works well for my skin, in that it keeps it plumped and hydrated throughout the day. I only use it in the morning, and it helps keep my skin from feeling dry through the day. The heat can take a toll on the skin, so I do depend on hydration serums and a good moisturiser to keep it comfortable. It is easy to use, lightweight and comfortable, and not terribly pricey especially when you can get it on sale often. Not a miracle worker, but useful should you be looking for a hydration serum that isn&#8217;t too expensive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PROS:<\/strong><br>Simple serum that hydrates skin<br>Skin feels and looks plumped and comfortable<br>Affordable<br>Lightweight and not sticky<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CONS:<\/strong><br>Nothing major<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WHO WILL LIKE THIS:<\/strong> Anyone who wants an affordable hydrating serum that is fairly basic<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PRICE:<\/strong> RM104.90 for 30ml (often goes on sale online or in pharmacies)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WHERE TO BUY:<\/strong> Most local pharmacies, Shopee, Lazada or wherever L&#8217;Oreal products are sold<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>For those interested, this is the ingredients list for the L&#8217;Oreal Revitalift Hyaluronic Acid 1.5% Serum<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">AQUA \/ WATER,&nbsp;GLYCERIN,&nbsp;HYDROXYETHYLPIPERAZINE ETHANE SULFONIC ACID,&nbsp;SODIUM HYALURONATE,&nbsp;PHENOXYETHANOL,&nbsp;PEG-60 HYDROGENATED CASTOR OIL,&nbsp;ASCORBYL GLUCOSIDE,&nbsp;CHLORPHENESIN,&nbsp;HYDROXYPROPYL GUAR, SODIUM ACETYLATED HYALURONATE,&nbsp;XANTHAN GUM,&nbsp;PENTYLENE GLYCOL, SECALE CEREALE SEED EXTRACT \/ RYE SEED EXTRACT, DIPEPTIDE DIAMINOBUTYROYL BENZYLAMIDE DIACETATE.
